[Recipe] Slow Cooker Balsamic Beef
You had me at balsamic. The beef part didn't hurt either though. Two of my favourite things to eat. Add in the ease of slow cooking, and I couldn't resist this slow-cooker balsamic beef roast.
- 3-4 lb beef roast
- 1 large onion
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 cloves garlic minced
Chop onion. Add it to the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place the roast on top of the onions.
Whisk together all of the sauce ingredients and pour over the roast and onions. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Remove roast and shred with a fork, return to juices.
Serve and enjoy.
