Although I had heard of Mars Bar Squares, I hadn’t tried them until just recently.
My friend Megan reminded me that these delicious squares existed and sent me her aunt’s recipe for them. THANK YOU, MEGAN!

Makes 36
4 Mars bars
1/2 cup butter
3 cups crispy rice cereal
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Spray a 9×9 inch pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper. Set aside.
Melt mars bars and butter in a large bowl in the microwave. In my microwave, this took two 45-second bursts.
Stir the bars and butter together well.
Add cereal and mix well.
Pat the cereal mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave.
Spread melted chocolate chips over cereal mixture and refrigerate until set.
Cut into squares.
