Wow butter cookie dough, day 2!
Remember that fantastic cookie dough we mixed up yesterday? It was great, wasn’t it? Here’s how that dough does double duty.
You’ll only need one or two extra ingredients to completely switch up yesterday’s wow! butter sparkle cookies – mini rolo pieces, and semi sweet chocolate chips (if you’d like). You’ll also need a mini muffin tin.
Follow yesterday’s recipe, going as far as rolling the dough into balls. Instead of rolling these balls in sugar, put each one in one of your mini muffin tin cups. Into each ball, press one mini rolo candy.
Bake the cookie cups for 12 – 15 minutes (mine baked for 14 mins), until golden brown and beautiful. Allow them to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the muffin tin.
Allow the cups to cool.
To fancy them up even more, drizzle the cookie cups with chocolate:
Melt some chocolate chips in the microwave. Put the melted chocolate in a sandwich bag and zip it closed. Cut the tiniest hole in the corner of the sandwich bag and drizzle the chocolate over the cooled cups.
